Elementails Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Elementails collects, how it's collected, and how it's used. Elementails is made and published by Zerostat LLC (“Zerostat,” “we,” “us”). It covers the web version and the mobile app versions.

What we collect and why

Playing as a guest

As a guest, Elementails saves your heroes, gear, zone progress, daily rewards, season progress, and settings on your device (or in your browser, on the web). We don't receive a copy.

If you create an account

You can create an optional account with a username, email address, and password. We then store your game progress, in-game currency balance, items, and purchase records on our server, so you can pick up where you left off on another device and so we can deliver what you paid for. We use your email address to sign you in, help you recover your account, send important notices about your account, and reply when you contact us. We don't use it for marketing. We store your password only in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we can't read it.

Technical information

When the game connects to our server (for example, to sync an account or check daily rewards), the server receives your IP address, device or browser type, and game version. We use this to keep the game working, fix problems, and prevent cheating and abuse. We delete these server logs after 30 days.

We plan to use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand how the game is played and to fix bugs. We haven't chosen them yet. Before we turn them on, we'll update this policy to name them and explain what they collect.

Ads

Elementails shows ads from a third-party ad provider. To show and measure ads, the ad provider may collect your IP address, device type and settings, and advertising identifiers (on iPhone, Apple's advertising identifier is only available if you allow tracking when asked). We don't give the ad provider your game progress or account details. We haven't chosen an ad provider yet. Before ads are turned on, we'll name the provider here and link to its privacy policy.

Who else is involved

• Ad provider, as described above.
• Apple and Google. In the mobile apps, you buy in-game currency through Apple's App Store or Google Play, which process the payment. We never receive your payment card details. At launch, there are no purchases on the web.
• Hosting. Our game server runs on a server we rent from a hosting provider. Before accounts launch, we'll name the provider and where the server is located.

We don't sell your personal information.

Your ad choices

• On iPhone, you can choose whether Elementails can track you when asked, and change it later in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking. You'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized using data from other companies' apps and websites.
• On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's privacy settings.

Keeping and deleting your data

• Guest progress stays on your device until you delete the app or, on the web, clear this site's data in your browser.
• Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. To delete your account, go to the main menu, then Settings. We delete your account and game data within 30 days, and copies in our backups within a further 30 days. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.
• You can also email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.

Children

Elementails is designed to be suitable for all ages, but it isn't directed at children under 13 and isn't in the App Store's Kids category. You must be at least 13 to play. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Our website

zerostat.ai doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or any third-party scripts. There are no forms and no accounts on the website.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information that every web request includes, such as your IP address and browser type, so it can deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We don't use this information to identify or track you.

If you email us at [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply to you and to handle your request. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share your email with anyone except our email provider, which stores our mailbox.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how Elementails uses your data, we'll also let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
